With IDEFICS, the LAPP opens up towards companies
The objective of IDEFICS is to create a bridge between companies and the Annecy Laboratory of Particle Physics (LAPP), and more specifically MUST, its digital platform, in order to support them in their digital transition.
An initiative to benefit companies.
This project, unique in France to date, is really taking off this year with the help of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER). Why such an initiative? The LAPP is an internationally renowned experimental physics laboratory, involved in fundamental research, particle physics and cosmic observation, with the aim of pushing back the frontiers of knowledge ever further. More than 150 scientists, researchers, engineers and technicians work in the fields of computer science, mechanics, electronics and in a combination of these different professions.

The IDEFICS project
The IDEFICS project, financed thanks to the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and the European fund FEDER, consists in creating a service to help manufacturers in their digital transition, espacially to meet the new challenges in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. The IDEFICS project aims to reinfirce the digital platform MUST and open it towards companies.
