Partners

The IDEFICS project would not have been possible without the support of the many partners who contributed to its funding and support.

FEDER

IDEFICS is co-financed by the European Union and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region within the framework of the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER).

The European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) is part of the economic, social and territorial cohesion policy. Its purpose is to strengthen economic and social cohesion in the European Union by correcting imbalances between its regions.

Laboratoire d’Annecy de Physique des Particules

The Annecy Laboratory of Particle Physics (LAPP) carries out major experimental programs with large particle accelerators or large instruments dedicated to the observation of the cosmos. The LAPP is committed to society, education and innovation. It promotes its know-how to Universities, with the industrial world and also in large-scale collaborative projects of the European Union.

LISTIC

The Computer Science, Systems, Information and Knowledge Processing Laboratory (LISTIC) is a Research Unit (UR) of the Savoie Mont Blanc University (USMB), recognized since 2003 by the French Research Ministry. Its scientific project focuses on machine learning and information fusion as well as networks and systems. Its work focuses on modelling, specification and development of theories, algorithms and systems for knowledge extraction and management, particularly in the fields of Earth observation and human behaviour.

Fondation USMB

In our closest territory (the Savoie region), the USMB Foundation helps us maintain our relations with the ecosystem of SMEs and local industries and plays a role as an intermediary and disseminates IDEFICS objectives to companies. The participation of the Mont Blanc Industries/CIMES and MINALOGIC competitiveness clusters, as well as representatives of many regional companies in the strategic steering of the platform, enables us to strengthen this link.

CNRS

The French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) is among the world’s leading research institutions. Its scientists explore the living world, matter, the Universe, and the functioning of human societies in order to meet the major challenges of today and tomorrow. Internationally recognised for the excellence of its scientific research, the CNRS is a reference in the world of research and development, as well as for the general public.

Université Savoie Mont Blanc

Between Geneva, Turin, Lyon and Grenoble, on the borders of Switzerland and Italy, with the unfailing support of the communities that gave birth to it, it is a territorial, regional and cross-border player, a major player in social, economic and cultural development. The University of Savoie Mont Blanc has forged close and constructive links with local and regional socio-economic players, and beyond, which today make it an essential part of the Rhone-Alpes dynamic, particularly that of the competitiveness clusters.
